multiple destinations: december on my mind

this must be my most hectic december since i was born: fixing of the house (yes, we're still at it); completing an outdoor adventure module for january of next year; writing backlog articles; an 8-day baguio and kabayan trip starting tomorrow; attending the famed simbang gabi of ateneo; arrivals of close relatives from los angeles and san francisco (woohoo!); tons of catching up, kuwentuhan and hanging out with my closest cousins; christmas parties (and i'll probably miss some); reunions; and my brother's wedding (and this is hectic being the best man/gopher).

but i'm not complaining. in fact, i'm loving it.

Hey Lex!

Looks like we’re on the same humongous and frantic boat…And I am betting, at the least, half of the country is dealing with so much chaotic activity not only because of what the yuletide brings, but basically due to the occurrence of the last month of 2005 per se.

Nonetheless, having all these endless to do’s (no matter how frenzied or relaxed; simple or complicated they may be) reassures us (one way or another) that we are capable of making things happen. Even how awfully crazy our calendars or schedules look like, at the end of the day after finishing all your agenda there is a certain gleam of unexplainable pride from being productive. And in some way, juggling these to do’s distracts us from the reality of things that we keep on avoiding time and again; or with all these stuff needed to be attended to can brings us to focus on what truly matters.

Happy Holidays!

PS - I do hope to have dinner with you guys before the end of 2005 :)
